Doctor Adam Berman
Dr. Cara Lane, a native of New Jersey, had plans to be a veterinarian from as early as Kindergarten. She took a little detour along the way, earning a double B.A. in Creative Writing and Fine Arts from Binghamton University and a Master’s Degree in the same disciplines from New York University. She then earned her veterinary degree from the University of Pennsylvania, graduating in 2007. Following graduation, Dr. Lane completed a year long rotating internship in Medicine and Surgery at the Bergh Memorial Animal Hospital of the ASPCA in New York.
She has practiced for 9 years in a general practice in NJ and is very excited to have relocated to Charlotte. Dr. Lane's clinical interests include surgery, long term management of internal medicine cases, and ultrasound. She loves spending time getting to know her clients and their pets. Outside of work, Dr. Lane enjoys reading, being outdoors, and spending time with her husband, her mom, and her two amazing young boys. She currently lives with a funny little terrier mix named Oreo and two fancy goldfish.
Doctor Matt Ritter, Board Certified Veterinary Surgeon (ACVS)
Dr. Ritter attended Iowa State University where he received his undergraduate degree in Zoology. He then continued on at Iowa State University where he graduated with his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Ritter completed an internship in medicine and surgery at the University of Pennsylvania and a residency in surgery at Michigan State University. Dr. Ritter became a diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons in January 2007 (Dipl. ACVS). Dr. Ritter owns Acacia Mobile Veterinary Surgery and provides assistance to our veterinary team with advanced surgical cases.
