Receptionists

  • Bobby

    Bobby is originally from New Jersey and moved to Charlotte, North Carolina in 2015. His previous career was as a Respiratory Care Practitioner at a Prominent Regional Trauma Medical Center in New Jersey.  He grew up with dogs and has always loved animals. Bobby has been with the practice and Dr. Berman since the opening of the hospital in September 2015.  He is the senior receptionist and is able to mix his love of animals and medical background. In his spare time Bobby loves to spend time with his niece Bonnie a 5 year old Pekinese.

  • Destinii

    Destinii is new to the Charlotte area and originally from San Diego, CA. She was born in Chesapeake, VA and has lived in the Raleigh/Durham area for over 7 years. Destinii recently worked as a client service representative at the Veterinary Specialty Hospital of the Carolinas for a little over a year and previously as a client service specialists for Bank of America for 2 years. She grew up with a lot of different pets and has since developed a love to care for animals. Destinii has one kitty named Dashe who is probably the cutest, green eyed, pink nosed, orange tabby you'll ever see.  In her spare time she is probably kayaking, going on a different cruise or eating! She is excited to be in the Charlotte area and look forward to growing with her new family and friends!

Veterinary Technicians/Assistants

  • Lisa

    Lisa is a native of Charlotte and currently lives in Clover, S.C. with her husband Chris, and stepson Conner. Lisa has two fur babies Willow, an 8 year old German Shepherd, and Abbey, a 7 year old German Shepherd. Lisa is both a veterinary assistant and receptionist at Quail Hollow Veterinary Hospital, and has been with the team since January of 2017. Lisa is an avid runner, and enjoys spending time with her family. Lisa is interested in learning more about veterinary science and eventually would like to become a full time veterinary technician.

  • Melissa

    Melissa is originally from Rochester, NY but has lived in the Charlotte area for over 5 years. She graduated from SUNY Geneseo in 2001 with a Bachelor degree in Mathematics. Over the years she has worked in various business fields but her true passion has always been caring for animals. She decided to make the switch into the veterinary profession and spent a few years as a Receptionist then as a Veterinary Assistant. In April 2017 Melissa joined QHVH as a Veterinary Assistant and was promoted to Veterinary Nurse a few months later. When she’s not at work Melissa enjoys pet sitting for families, spending time with her dog Charlie, and cheering on her favorite sports teams. 

  • Gloria

    Gloria joined the team at Quail Hollow in November 2017 as a Veterinary Assistant. She usually can be found trying to snuggle our furry patients and enjoys educating clients on the benefits of preventative medicine. Gloria graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill in 2010 with a bachelor’s degree in chemistry and has ambitions of attending veterinary school one day.  Besides veterinary medicine, Gloria is also very interested in animal behavior. She assists a local dog trainer on her off days from Quail Hollow Veterinary Hospital and is studying to become a certified dog trainer herself. In her spare time, Gloria enjoys having SCUBA diving, skiing, and rock climbing adventures with her husband, John. She also enjoys running with her dog, Jackson, and playing with her fierce cat, Penny.
